We Support all church members to Reach Their Full Potential in their god given ministries

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13).

Ministries

01.

— Outreach

The team is made up of people that are passionate about making a difference in Burton Latimer community. Our activities here include soup kitchens, food banks and evangelism. We encourage people to use their skills and passions to find something that fits their personality to get involved in this church community and strengthen the faith of the entire body of Christ.

02.

— Praise & Worship

The team defends the church in various ways. Those with a passion for music are encouraged to join. 2 Chronicles 20:22 tells us, “as they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated”.

03.

— Hospitality

The team takes care of the church and its community just as Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:35-36)

04.

— Sunday School

Our GO publishes monthly booklets that we use for Sunday School . We need teachers to help with leading this ministries every Sunday morning.

05.

— Counselling

The team ministers to people’s spiritual needs, mental health as well as their emotional needs. Therapists, counsellors, and spiritual directors in our church help in this area.

06.

— Youth Ministry

Making disciples among the youth is necessary in growing the body of Christ for they are the future preachers of Christ.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10)
